OUR STORY

Gold Palm begins beneath the shade of a swaying palm tree. Under South Carolina’s golden sky, Justin, Dylan and Brian share stories, bottles of wine and a dream to combine their expertise in a joint venture.

It's an unlikely friendship, blending two sunny corners of the earth — the Barossa Valley in Dylan and Justin’s shaded Australian backyard and the shimmering coastline at Brian’s South Carolina doorstep.

Together they traversed the world’s great wine regions. Learning from experienced hands and growing their passion for wines made to be shared. They soon found California — a land of golden hills, palm-line roads and an endless summer. The perfect patch of lawn to call home. They purchase sun ripened grapes from esteemed growers and local vineyards, until the day they can buy a Napa Valley Estate to call their own. This is wine from one family to the next, from people that know wine inside out.

Growing up in the Barossa Valley, it’s no wonder that Justin and Dylan Fairweather gravitated towards the wine industry. Not quite traditional, their McLaren Vale winery became the poster boy of alternative varieties and styles, pushing the boundaries in an evolving Australian market. Producing wines that refuse to be boxed in by tradition’s boundaries. Making some of the world’s most progressive and interesting wines to date.

Brian Lewis has worked on all sides of wine. Making, selling, branding, pouring, and drinking. He's done it all. An expert in his trade, bringing wines from around the world into American homes. He was there when the first critter wines landed stateside, and when fresh Beaujolais Nouveau enthralled New Yorkers.

These practiced vintners take a hands-on approach, spending long days in the cellar, carefully watching as delicate juice turns to liquid gold.

Producing bottles to be shared. Wines to drink now. Wines for the moment. Elegant whites to laze the day away. Plush reds to join you on the patio. Gold Palm is made with friendship in mind. Long tables playing host to plates piled with food, weekend barbecues that turn into big gatherings. Because the best meals are shared with friends and wine.

Unbound by the rules written by old world winemakers, these wines are the modern classic. Letting classic Cali varieties do what they know best. A pure expression of Californian soil, punching above their weight. The golden state bottled up for your drinking pleasure. It’s not hard to feel at ease with a glass of Gold Palm and the sunshine beaming down on you.
